We were set on the idea of coming up with mad scientist themed room when we thought of the local horror show host Doctor Madblood. Jerry Harrell's character has been frightening and entertaining Tidewater audiences from his Pungo studio manor since 1975. Here the good doctor resides in the majestic Madblood Manor at 13 Idle Hour Road. Life at the manor is far from idle, however, as Dr. Madblood conducts his medical practice and his occasional experiments. The rejects from the latter occupy the basement and are affectionately dubbed "the monsters".
After contacting Jerry and explaining our concept for our new escape room, he was thrilled to give our project his blessing and has provided many thoughtful insights into the creation of the room. We are looking forward to unveiling the finished product sometime in September!
